I read Ann’s book last year and half hardheartedly started a list of 1,000 things to be thankful for. But its been on my mind again recently and I thought what better time than to start again today and make a point to share my little thankful moments with you each Monday, because lets be honest, no matter where in the world you are, no one likes Mondays.

So without further ado, the first installment:

1. This sign waiting for me at my desk this morning:


2. The hug waiting for me in C Ward last night

3. A phone call with my lovely sister and getting to hear my nieces coo and cry


4. Lisa sending me a new book for my Kindle

5. The container finally arrived and I got my long awaited for Emergen-C

6. Real Italian food and a glass of Chianti at Brenda’s bachelorette party

7. Diet Coke and Peanut Butter M&M’s…

8. … And Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Swedish Fish… again, the Container finally made it!

9. Hanging out with miss Zoe for an evening

11. …and waking up to a beautiful sunrise the next day
